Closed Government to provide further funding and resources to Veterans UK

Veterans UK administers the armed forces pension schemes & compensation payments for those injured or bereaved through service. In 2014, the Head of Veterans UK stated that the processing time for new claims was 4 months. In 2018, Veterans UK acknowledge that this it is now far in excess of this.
