Closed petition Introduce Knife crime awareness/first aid workshops into schools.

Closed on

As I write this petition 119 people have died this year of violent crimes, a huge percentage of the deaths have been to knife crime. Children should be educated on the dangers of knif crime, the consequences of carrying a knife, more importantly what to do in a situation If confronted by a knife.

London knife crime unfortunately is spiralling out of control and sadly most effected are young people. In a recent report it was mentioned how Children may be more vulnerable to becoming a stabbing victim on their way home from school.

Schools, should tackle these issues, have awareness classes, what to say? What to do? When confronted by someone with a knife. First aid courses, knowing vital organs, consequences of carrying a knife and much more.
