Closed Make MPs vote by secret ballot in Parliament

When we hold a General Election, a Local Election, a Referendum or when a union holds a strike ballot, voting is done by secret ballot, to remove intimidation. We should insist on nothing less for our MPs, to allow them to vote with their consciences and best judgement, and to prevent intimidation.

The Brexit debates in Parliament have shown, time and again, that party leaders can, and do, influence the way their MPs vote.

If all Parliamentary votes were by secret it would empower Parliament to actually be our Supreme lawmaking body, and prevent Governments from sidelining it
