Closed Stop rapists from accessing children conceived through rape

Rotherham Grooming Scandal Whistleblower & Rape Survivor Sammy Woodhouse had a baby as result of her abuser raping her repeatedly. In 2017 she discovered her rapist, who was sentenced to 35 years, was entitled to parental rights meaning he could access her son.

Sammy took the courageous and traumatic step of forgoing her anonymity to ensure her rapist & other members of the grooming gang went to jail. Her rapist was found guilty of 23 child sex offences. Then in 2017 the authorities approached her rapist without her knowledge. She is calling for a simple amendment to the Children’s Act 1989 which would ban any male with a child conceived by rape from applying for access/rights.
