Old style lights on cars worked fine. Now driving at night had become quite dangerous for other road users especially motorcyclists. Many occasions I’ve had to come to a near stop until the other car has passed. Something needs to be done.

Two thirds of Britain’s drivers complain they are regularly dazzled by the headlights of modern vehicles, according to a new report today. Some 65 per cent of more than 2,000 motorists surveyed say they regularly get dazzled by oncoming headlights even though they are dipped.And fifteen per cent of motorists surveyed by the RAC claim they have suffered a near-miss as a result of being dazzled by modern headlights that they believe are too bright.
