Rejected petition Enforce all food outlets to clearly label Halal meat.

At the present moment in time, there is no requirement for ANY food establishment to inform us that they use Halal meat, therefore, many of us are unaware that we are eating it. To ensure that the public are given a choice of what they want to eat, ALL meat needs to be clearly labelled.

Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons and M&S, KFC, Greggs, Dominoes Pizza, Pizza express, Nandos, Slug and Lettuce, Subway and various airlines, admit to using Halal meat. We also need it to cover cafés and individual smaller take away places.
