Rejected petition School Uniform Should Not Be Mandatory as it causes more distractions!

Schools in the uk are meant to wear uniform yet it costs more than regular clothing items, causes many more distractions.

I have spoken to many people about this and they always say “I was wearing tights and they just ripped so I decided to change and I was sent home”. Also a male friend said “my school shirt ripped and I had nothing else other than my PE top so I had no choice”
