Closed Repeal the Spring Traps Approval (England) Order 2018

A number of traps for grey squirrels became approved in England from the 1st of January 2019 and are available for sale in the UK from that date. Killing Grey Squirrels is a cruel and unnecessary practice, I believe it is based on false information and propaganda.

Killing one colour of squirrel in order to save another that might not able be able to thrive in most parts of today’s UK habitat regardless is a misinformed and completely misguided act. Remember, humans wiped out most red squirrels many years ago.
