Tax-payers contribute thousands of pounds to cycle-paths throughout the UK, yet some cyclists insist on not using them where possible and instead cause congestion and dangers by cycling on the roads where there is no need to.
HGV's and buses are particularly affected due the their inherent size & lack of acceleration to overtake safely.
Police & PCSO's should be granted the power to fine cyclists not using the cycle-paths where there is one present.
