Closed Make income tax a standard 20%, regardless of how much you earn.

As it is now the more you earn the more tax you pay so if you're lucky enough to be earning £40k a year the government take about 5k in income tax, 5k in national insurance not even including student loans and pension contributions. The amount you take home does not reflect the work you do.
