Rejected petition GrandParent to stay in UK
Rejected on
Changes in Immigration Law to provide automatic stay to any Grand Parent over the age of 65 no matter their nationality without any financial requirement and provide settlement visa.
There must be a fair system and no appeal should be required.
A clear evidence is provided on the link below:
Home Office has currently provided automatic visa to the family and withdrwan the deportation of the family. People over 65, specially grand parents entering the country as a Visitor Visa, should be allowed to switch their visa status. No matter whether they have family members in their home country. It is a legal Human right and right of any child to have their grandparents stay with them as a ground to continous culture and continous bonding with their elder grand parents.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we aren't sure what action you would like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
We understand that you would like Grandparents to be given greater rights to stay in the UK, but we aren't sure who exactly this would apply to.
You could start a new petition calling for Grandparents of UK residents with permanent leave to remain to be given the automatic right to remain in the UK if that is something you would like to see happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
