Rejected petition legally require all resturants to replace all straws with bamboo straws.

We all know plastic straws are a problem, and, lets face it, paper straws are a cheap cop out for profit greedy corpoations. I believe that the best solution is bamboo straws as they are reusable, biodegradablw and above all pleasent to drink from.
Why was this petition rejected?
