Closed Increase funding for tinnitus research to guide the way for a cure

Tinnitus affects 10% of the UK with it affecting lives badly. Results in some studies have shown promised results hyperbaric oxygen, electric simulation and other possible cures. Funding should be increased to research these.

The NCBI have records on hyperbaric oxygen tanks , electric stimulation devices , some are available at private clinics but cost too much money, in to the £1000s. The NHS could do this much cheaper and with better impact, some epilepsy drugs might even help. This should and must happen , people live in fear with this condition some better than others, it has been associated with some people taking their own lives, please step up to a new chapter in helping tinnitus suffers get relief.
