The standard of the BBC Somali service had been on the decline for years, the BBC Somali Service has lost its integrity amongst Somali audience, furthermore the current BBC Somali service format has no longer promotes its purpose of educating, informing and broadcasting balance news to the detriment of the BBC own charter.

Somaliland community in the United Kingdom demand parliament to set up a committee to review the broadcasting content of the BBC Somali service.
