Parliament must require an official, unbiased guide with for-and-against arguments and related rebuttals, a register of organisations in support and opposition, and unbiased explanations of financial consequences of vote outcomes.
Parliament in its sovereignty must protect the people by preventing manipulative and unclear referenda with ill-defined questions, rampant misinformation and misleading promises. We request that our sovereign Parliament implement referenda reform by producing truly unbiased official voter communications document, similar to California Secretary of State?s Official Voter Information Guide.
