Closed Review of the Council Tax Band system.

In 1991 Council Tax Bands were set from A-H from £0 to over £320,000.

This system is no longer relevant or fit for purpose.

According to the Nationwides House Price Index Calculator house Prices have risen 292.65% from 1991 Q1 to 2018 Q4.

A realistic look and long term plan needs to put in place to amend the bands accordingly as prices increase or an overhaul of the system and a new tax plan needs to take its place as the current one is almost 30 years old and outdated.
