Petition Free prescriptions for people with Motor Neurone Disease

Currently people with Motor Neurone Disease have to pay the NHS prescription charge. As MND is a terminal illness I would like to see this changed.

My father was recently diagnosed with motor neurone disease and I was shocked to find out he has to pay the same prescription charge as me, or any other healthy person. He currently uses a NHS card that costs £100 per year, and covers all prescription charges for that year, but I believe people with this illness should not have to pay a prescription charge at all.
