We need a Public Inquiry into Greater Manchester Police (GMP). GMP has been the subject of negative reporting which has impacted on the public's trust. Complaints have been made to the Mayor and the Independent Office for Police Conduct. There are serious questions that need investigating.

We need the government and/or parliament to set up a public Inquiry into GMP. This organisation is democratically accountable for their conduct. There has been recent negative reporting about GMP and their competence. There are very serious questions about GMP that need to be investigated in a Public Inquiry. They should not be allowed to investigate themselves. The complaints system is flawed. There are concerns of political interference and abuses of powers. GMP employ over 6,000 police officers.
