Petition Illegalise taking pictures of individuals without their permission

Recently a young woman got photographed and filmed during her work time by a prankster that posted a false story on social media.
Strangers to the girl started to commenting on this post and spoke bad about the young woman without knowing her.

She was so sad and disturbed by this issue that she has quit her job and is not working at a place anymore where she would need to speak to strangers face to face.
This young woman was my friend and very talented at her job. It is unfair that people out of boredom can have such a big impact on one’s life. Such act should be illegal.One should not be able to take a picture of someone else and publish it online without permission.
Photos without permission should be only taken for security reasons.
