Closed Begin a national solar panel rollout

The UK is in the midst of the Smart Meter rollout, these are not the solution for a greener future, we should use renewables like solar as much as possible in addition to reducing how much energy is wasted. It would be better offering every home in the UK solar panels free instead of Smart Meters.

Current scientific thought states we as a civilization must harness the power of the sun in order to secure our long term future. The billions of pounds spent funding smart meters could be put to better use.
