Rejected petition All shops to store blades/Knives inside locked cabinets only accessible by staff

Even though most shops and supermarkets are strict with the age restrictions in regards to selling blades or knives, it is not enough. People can simply steal them straight off the shelf. I want to see ALL blades/Knives locked in secured cabinets that only accessible by staff with a key.

Many shops and supermarkets do this with perfumes and aftershaves, are the cost of aftershaves and perfumes more important than people's lives!? By having blades locked in secure cabinets will help stop the amount of blades freely available and on our streets.
