This petition asks that the Department for Transport relax the sanctions that are currently in place surrounding travel to Iraq.

With the war in Iraq over, British companies controlling the airspace and British security stationed at Baghdad International Airport, there is no longer the same threat as before. Many experts have cited that Baghdad Airport is now one of the safest Airports in the world and the sanctions should be lifted.
