We are highly concerned with the use of single-use plastics. This is because it uses fossil fuels, is non- biodegradable and pollutes our oceans resulting in the killing of animals and disruption of food chains.

We are increasingly worried about the future of our planet, with plastic contributing to a huge carbon footprint. We want to eliminate the use of unnecessary plastic in takeaways nationally.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
