Closed petition Make a law that states all dogs must be on leads in public places.

Closed on

I have heard and experienced numerous situations where dog owners have dogs off leads that leads to danger. I have experienced myself asking owners to put a lead on their dogs as myself and my dog was distressed and they refused. If someone doesn’t want your dog around them, you should show respect.

I had numerous experiences where people have laughed and refused to put a lead on their dog.
I have 3 dogs and do not take more then one out at a time as i am very nervous of other dogs and whether their owners have control. Today, i politely asked if a man could take his dog away from mine as mine was clearly distressed&he laughed and said ‘you aint got a clue have you love’ and walked away, LEAVING his dog with me, after asking numerous times he finally got his dog whilst also insulting me.
