Closed Bring law about use of mobile phones whilst driving inline with drink driving

We still see people using mobile phones while driving, the law as it stands does not deter their use. Using a mobile phone while driving is as dangerous to other drivers and pedestrians as driving while under the influence of drugs and alcohol, I’m asking for the punishment to be the same.
