Closed Allow PSV license holders automatic right to class 2 lorry license

I want the government to alter the current driving license categories to allow PSV holders automatic right to a class 2 lorry licence. This is purely based on logic.

I currently hold a PSV (bus) license and with this license I can drive a 15 meter coach, but I cannot drive anything over 3.5 ton that isn’t a bus

Category B - if you passed your test on or after 1 January 1997
You can drive vehicles up to 3,500kg MAM with up to 8 passenger seats (with a trailer up to 750kg).
Buses
Category D
You can drive any bus with more than 8 passenger seats (with a trailer up to 750kg MAM).
