The current child maintenance legislation is flawed and unfair. The way it is calculated is not properly means tested which is wrong and unfair, especially to fathers.

Child maintenance should take into account both parents’ earnings, i.e. any income and outgoing state benefit. Parents who are being denied access to their without legal reason should also have the legal right to refuse payment it’s time the parliament stepped in stopped this unfair treatment of fathers child maintenance should be fair and means tested across the board.
