Motorcycle VED brackets are in sections based on engine sizes and not emissions.
Lately, most motorcycle manufacturers have increased the capacity of the '600cc' class to 650 / 675cc.
This has been to improve torque, emissions and fuel economy.
This has pushed these mid range bikes into the top class of Vehicle Excise Duty, so the current brackets need to be reviewed to increase the appeal of these efficient motors.
