Closed Stop DVLA charging extra fee for monthly direct debit or 6 monthly Car Road Tax.

It is understandable that every driver has to pay car tax to drive on the UK roads.However there is no nead for DVLA to charge extra if one decided to pay for six months tax instead of a full year or paying it monthly by direct debit, especially when all this can be arranged online by the applicant.

If any paperwork is involved in the process then it is only fair for DVLA to charge for the postage fee.
