Closed Ban out of school hours detentions

Students are put into detentions for doing something wrong. However they are not actually making a difference. A detention in school hours is enough and is making the same impact as a detention out of school hours, so why go for a more complicated rather than a simpler option.

So why should we put students into further trouble when we can put them in less trouble and get the same result. Simple solutions are better than complicated solutions that give the same outcome.
