Petition Leave EU and join NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement)

NAFTA is a free trade agreement between the USA, Canada and Mexico. It is the largest trade bloc in the world.

The Eurozone countries are now likely to demand much tighter regulation from Brussels in return for the UK staying in the EU and the single market.

This price, in terms of UK sovereignty, is not worth paying.

Instead we should consider the possibility of leaving the EU and joining NAFTA. By doing this we would remain part of a large free trade area without having to sacrifice our sovereignty.

Whether they would accept us remains to be seen. However we are a nation striving for our independence in the face of international interference in our right to rule ourselves and trade freely. Americans may well be able to sympathise with that plight...
