Rejected petition why are free from foods and drinks more expensive? Is this discrimination?

For myself and for my family it is remarkably more expensive to buy gluten and dairy free products. Through no fault of their our these products must be purchased. Why is there a cost impact on people that have these certain needs? Why can it not be the same price? And why is there less choice?
