Closed Scrap the CAA Drone Registration Scheme

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) are launching UK Drone Registration Scheme, which is due to be launched from 1 October 2019 which means anyone who may fly recreationally will be subject to an annual charge of £16.50 to cover the cost of the registration! We want this registration process scraped

The CAA expect 170,000 UK operators to sign up in the first 18 months which will bring in a revenue of 2.8 million to cover the costs. Other countries have the registration process for free or at a fraction of the cost.

Any drone over 250g will be required to register. Yes, that includes your child’s toy drone.
