This is a petition to change the rules for online petitions.

The change should make it mandatory to be 16+ and to use a National Insurance number to be eligible to sign the online petitions.

I have started this petition in regards to recent petitions online that have swayed decision making in parliament and have even made the news headlines.

Making it mandatory to provide a NI number will stop this process from being abused.
