The democratic process of the UK is in danger. People are feeling ignored and are turning to extreme options as a result. Democracy would be better served by the following changes to the election processes of the United Kingdom:

1. The addition of a ‘None of the Above’ option to the ballot paper.
2. The addition of a ‘Comments Box’ to the ballot paper.
3. A post-election analysis process which includes publication by government of anonymised findings and further debate of the comments.
