Petition Reduce credit card limits to £250

I would like to suggest that her majesty's government , changes ,and gets the banks and other credit card operators to reduce the amount a person can have on credit.Reducing it in away that the percentage , is based on earnings. And to stop banks and credit card company's increasing credit limits which itself increases debts.
The Maximum per person should be set to £250, and also banks and credit company's should not increase credit levels above that.
This would reduce use of credit cards ,and encourage savings to purchase items
