Petition Make lock blade pocket knives under 3inches legal without needing "valid reason"

Our knife laws are extremely vague and, although it is legal to carry a lock knife if you have a "valid reason". People have been fined or jailed despite not causing any harm.

The majority of knife crimes are committed with kitchen knives, not pocket knives and the vast majority of people just want to be able to use a knife without worrying they will lose their fingers from the blade folding on them. Stop using law abiding knife owners as scapegoats for kitchen-knife-wielding criminals.
