When I pay a bill to various companies, ie BT Water
Gas Electric Etc. I get penalised for paying by cheque,
this is unfair and wrong, they know as a regular payer who and what you are, and arrangments are alredy in place to receive the payment, it is nothing more than blackmail to make you pay a varying bill by direct debit.
The Government should stop it or at least reduce the amount they can charge.
