Rejected petition Make TV Licencing free for over 75's.

The BBC has confirmed plans to make most over-75s pay the TV licence fee, arguing that it is the only way to avoid closing channels and making substantial cutbacks.

Millions more people will have to start paying £154.40 a year, those who cannot won't be able to watch television.
