Rejected petition Scrap TV licence as it's outdated - instead fund by subscription or adverts

The TV licence is not fit for purpose. It funds the BBC yet anyone watching live TV needs one regardless of whether they watch BBC. Now it's been scrapped for the over 75s - many are in poverty, while executives and celebrities are paid massive salaries. Should be funded by ads or subscription.
