My daughters have been looking for a property to rent for the last 4 months!They have found plenty of suitable properties ,However they have been refused because they have pets . I really do feel that this is unfair. I accept there will be circumstances when a refusal to accept a pet is justified .

Thousands of UK residents are forced to make the difficult decision to part with their pet.
The the law allows landlords to refuse all pet owners .This favors landlords’ rights over tenants’ rights. Pet owners whose animals are well behaved should be allowed to keep their animals.
The renting sector is increaseing with people finding it harder to own their own home. people are giving up their animals or have to live in accommodation that is beyond their means simply to keep their pets!
