Rejected petition Extra bank holiday in May 2020

Instead of moving the early May 2020 bank holiday from Monday May 4 to Friday May 8, leave the Monday bank holiday and have an extra one on Friday for the 2020 VE Day celebrations. There is precedent for this - with additional bank holidays for the Royal wedding and Queen’s jubilee.

This is not the same as the existing petition calling for a four day weekend in a May to celebrate VE Day.
