Closed petition Ban all Balloon's (including Helium filled).

This sounds like a fun suck, however balloon's are one of the most dangerous and environmentally damaging 'fun' products out there.

This ban would see the sale of balloons stopped unless for medical or scientific reasons and when proven a need.

It is estimated that above 35% of all choking related deaths of children under the age of 6 are caused by latex balloons. This does not include helium related death and others in adults.

Helium gas is a non-renewable gas which is used to cool down MRI machines and used to help new borns breath, new alternative have yet to be found.

The damage caused by the single use plastic on the environment can prove detrimental to many lives, marine, land and even human, not to mention aircraft.
