Rejected petition Stop the use of "CIS" when talking about biological Men & Women.
The word CIS is being used as a prefix to speak about Male born Men & Female born Women.
Used by the LGBTQ+ community mainly within the transsexual community to describe and categorise women & men. This takes away the right to be known as we have always been known as women/woman or men/man.
More details
There is no reason to use a prefix to describe or discuss or categorise women and men. There is no need to be regrouped or labelled to take away the individuality already established.
This slur is offensive and used as such to speak or write about in an abusively disparaging manner.
In a time when Society is already confusing & challenging, there is no reason to name and group people that already have established & sufficient definitions:
Woman; Adult Human Female.
Man; Adult Human Male.
