We have two shops in seperate locations. Our office is in our home at another location. On some days we receive between 30-40 unwanted calls across the 3 locations despite all numbers being registered with the telephone preference service. There is not a day where we do not receive any calls.

We have call-barring, but there are too many numbers available to those making calls trying to sell everything from electricity/gas to ppi claims for the system to cope with. We are often told complete lies in order for these crooks to get us hooked into their cons, this has got to be stopped.

Why was this petition rejected?

There’s already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
