Closed petition Create a Free Speech Act that abolishes Hate Speech Laws
Closed on
Introduce a Free Speech Act 2019 to terminate all "Hate Speech" laws imposed in the UK such as Section 127 of the Communication Act. This would make the freedom of speech no longer subject to restrictions.
3,395 people have been arrested Section 127 of the Communication Act according to a report by The Times, this act makes it illegal to "persistently make use of a public electronic communications network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety to another”.
