Closed petition Introduce mandatory national service.

I am in the Army Reserves after spending 26 years in the Regular Army. I have spoken to the general public and ex military personnel that they think a deterrent is needed to sort out the 16 years and over who commit petty crimes and that national service would sort them new life skills & respect.

ex military personnel would love to pass on their skills they learned to succeed and even use closed military barracks as a base to train persons. Majority of the persons taught would either educate themselves to join the British Army and other services such as Police, Medics for the future as this would be a hit as so many persons wish this could happen. The less well off child or adult would find a income by joining the services once they are taught how to survive and to respect.
