Closed Implement ALL the Committee on Climate Change Recommendations without DELAY

UK government’s statutory advisory body, the internationally respected CCC, has produced a series of reports. Political rhetoric without effective action is UNACCEPTABLE. Key recommendations in the May 2019 “Net Zero” report have NOT been adopted - to include in the UK target other greenhouse gasses and emissions from aviation and shipping.

Two subsequent CCC reports highlight that the UK is:

(1) FAILING to meet its previous emissions targets. Only 1 of the 25 critical policies needed to get emissions reduction back on track have been delivered.

(2) FAILING to adapt to rising temperatures. Action to prepare for warming is less ambitious than it was 10 years ago.
