Closed petition Add mental health education and information about helplines to the curriculum
Closed on
Students need to be taught about mental health in schools. I think it’s vital that schools teach children about how to get help for suicidal thoughts, students should learn about helplines, charities and people they can talk at an early age.
My dad committed suicide last year and I want to prevent as many suicides as I can for the future. The reason it is crucial that students are educated about suicide is because from an early age they will know where and how to get help. Students will also be taught warning signs and how to support others.
