Closed the death penalty for the murder of a police person carrying out their duty

Criminals are now acting with impunity and a total disregard of any current deterrent. Police put their safety at risk every day whilst doing their duty and protecting us, the public and they should have protection of the law which protects their lives. Capital punishment would achieve this.

Police men and women have been murdered in the course of doing their duty protecting us, the public.
